WrapSnap respects your privacy. This page explains every cookie and similar technology our marketing site and operator SaaS use, why we use it, who sets it, and how long it lasts. You are in control: change your preferences any time using the button — in the footer or anywhere on the site.
1. Lawful basis
Strictly-necessary cookies are set under our legitimate interest in providing a working website (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003). All other categories are set only after you have provided consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time — it is as easy as accepting.
2. Categories
We group cookies into four standard categories. Each category can be toggled independently in the preferences panel.
- Strictly necessary — These cookies are essential for the website to function. They include things like remembering your cookie preferences, keeping you signed in, and protecting against cross-site abuse. They cannot be disabled.
- Functional — These cookies let the site remember choices you make — language, region, layout preferences — so you have a more personalised experience. The site still works without them.
- Analytics — These cookies help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We use PostHog (hosted in the EU). Data is anonymised and never sold or shared with advertisers.
- Marketing — These cookies are used to deliver advertising more relevant to you, or to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. WrapSnap does not currently set any marketing cookies — this category is reserved for future advertising or remarketing tools and will only set cookies after you have consented.

4. Withdrawing consent
To withdraw consent, open the panel and either toggle individual categories off or click Reject all. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on your earlier consent.
5. Data subject access requests
If you want to know what consent we hold for you, we need the ws_consent_id stored in your browser's first-party cookie for wrapsnap.app.
Open the Manage cookies panel — your consent_id is shown at the bottom — and email it to privacy@wrapsnap.app with the subject line "Cookie
consent SAR". We will reply within 30 days.
6. Retention
We keep consent records for 24 months after the most recent event. After that, the record is automatically deleted from our consent log. The IP address attached to each event is hashed with a daily-rotating salt before storage, meaning we cannot correlate IPs across days.
